Arguably the most talked-about athlete in sports right now is Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
The former Iowa star captured the attention of millions as she became the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer. She was subsequently picked first overall in this year’s WNBA Draft. Despite turning pro just in April, Clark has already cemented her status as one of the league’s most popular players. She led the league in All-Star votes, making the team as a rookie, and is a strong favorite to win Rookie of the Year
However, on Friday, clips of Clark’s high school passing skills went viral, showing her deceptive and brilliant plays that left her competition bewildered.
During high school, Clark was a five-star recruit, ranked as the No. 4 player in the country by ESPN. She earned three all-state team honors and was named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year twice. At Iowa, she continued to shine, being named AP Player of the Year twice, making four All-American first-teams, and leading her team to back-to-back title appearances.
